Greater Noida:- The College is proud to announce the successful commencement of the 8th International Conference, themed “Digital Transformation: AI, Sustainability, and Economic Resilience,” held on October 18, 2024, at the GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research. This prestigious event was organized in collaboration with Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening), Delhi University, and Sunway Business School, Malaysia.

We were deeply honored to host our esteemed chief guests: Dr. Srinivasan R. Iyengar from JBIMS, Mumbai, Professor Farshad Baadie from the Berlin School of Business and Innovation, Germany; Professor Masroor Ahmed Beg Principal of Zakir Husain, Delhi College The conference commenced with a traditional and symbolic Lamp Lighting Ceremony, signifying the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. Dr. Rakesh delivered a warm Green Greeting to our esteemed chief guests, followed by a welcome address highlighting the significance of the event. Professor Masroor Ahmed expressed his gratitude in a second welcome speech, extending a cordial reception to all attendees.

Dr. Srinivasan R. Iyengar provided insights into digital transformation, referencing key industry players such as Mahindra, Reliance Digital, and Tesla to illustrate the practical implications of this shift.

The keynote speaker, Professor Farshad Baadie, delivered an insightful address underscoring the critical importance of digital transformation in today’s rapidly evolving landscape. He presented a compelling framework for understanding digitalization, linking it to Lewin’s Three Phases of Planned Change—Unfreezing, Changing, and Refreezing—and the OIGI (Organization, Intergroup, Group, and Individual) Pyramid. This framework effectively illustrated the various levels of focus involved in the digital transformation process. The conference served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among academia and industry, emphasizing the significance of digital transformation in fostering sustainability and economic resilience.
