Greater Noida: 200 plus schools and total of 400 participants gathered at NIET, Greater Noida on 9th & 10th April 2024 for Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp designed for the students, Innovators, Teachers and Principals of Schools
The Ministry of Education’s (MoE’s) Innovation Cell is hosting the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp for Student Innovators, Teachers and Principals of Schools on April 9th and 10th, 2024 at NIET, Greater Noida
which is one among the total of 18 centres chosen across India. ON the day one at NIET, Greater Noida IDE Bootcamp the chief for the day was Mr. Atul Puri, founder of eGrowth. He addressed the participants and said that an aspiring entrepreneur should have persistence and zing to meet the challenges of this journey. Sh. Nitin Kumar, Startup Fellow from Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC),SH core team was spokesperson from MIC. IN his address, he said that the bootcamp seeks to enhance participants’ understanding of the Indian entrepreneurial landscape, available opportunities for school children, and the support framework provided by the Government of India. Where as Mr. Ajay Jakle, program Manager represented Wadhwani Entrepreneur Network and spoke about how aspiring entrepreneurs can take benefit from such bootcamps.
During the Inaugural session EVP of the institute, Dr..Raman Batra welcomed the guests and in his address he assured the participants for the full support from NIET, TBI. He also insisted on dreaming big and experiment with ideas as early as possible. Dr.Vinod M.Kapse welcomed the participants and also elaborated on the achievements of the institute. During the first day, the renowned speakers, design experts, and Incubation Heads of national and international repute like Dr. PV Madhusudhan Rao, Professor and Dean, IIT Delhi, Dr. Aashna Narula, Founder Director, Psychopedia, Dr. Upasana Diwan, Associate Professor, Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, President Institution Innovation Council addressed the participants and delivered the training sessions. The speakers also answered all the questions from the participants and as expected, the day one event had a series of group activities, immersive working sessions, and engaging workshops, all tailored to ignite creativity and problem-solving skills. With an emphasis on fostering collaboration and interactive learning, participants also explored into the “why,” “what,” and “how” of innovation.
