The Mechanical Engineering Department of ITS Engineering College organized a 2 days online workshop on “Basics of Pneumatic Technology” at COE: SMC Pneumatics of ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida.
The aim of the workshop was to develop the understanding of pneumatic components among the students for designing the circuit required for industrial automation. The detailed knowledge of compressed air, air compressor, air dryer, pneumatic components, single and double acting cylinders, directional control valves and auxiliary valves was imparted to the students. All students from final year mechanical engineering department participated in the workshop. The short workshop helped the students to understand the role of Automation in economical development for the nation. It also helped the students to explore new dimension for the use pneumatics or low cost automation in Industries.
Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Director, ITS Engineering College inaugurated the workshop and inspired the students to become a positive participant in such kind of workshops. This event was coordinated by Mr. Manvendra Yadav & Mr. Chetan Dixit.
